Hi - Thanks all that responded to me. Although the crust did have a
little big of egg in it, I decided to use the crust anyway. So far,
no problems with eating it, except eating too much!
The crust tasted very good. I was initially disappointed to find
only the 8" crusts, not the 9" ones that I found last year. But I
simply made 2 pies instead of 1. I contemplated buying the mix,
which I used in the past, but it simply would have taken much more
time, which I did not have. The mix requires me to buy apple cider
vinegar, which I otherwise would have no need for. If anyone can
tell me how critical that is to the mix, it would be interesting to
know, in case I ever need to use the mix. Yeah, I know it's
inexpensive, but I feel silly buying a large bottle of it, only to
use a very small amount. Perhaps there is a easy substitute for it?
Thanks! - Mark
