I do hope you'll be arround the list and maybe you can and I am sure, others
give me some tips for the big 35 question exam.


I have not received my membership to Handihams yet, so I am over excited
about this. I only have until july 10 to go to the kiahoga club (I live
currently in cleveland). So I only have 3 weeks. I dont know if I would be
able to get my license by then. Since in august I have to do summer reading
for the eighth grade, I will be busy  by then.

Just a couple of questions to everyone on this list:

Do you guise think I can learn ham radio technician license in 3 weeks? If
so, how much should I studdy?  And finally, Are any of you in cleveland?
Since technician license wont get me too far, well i mean by that that I
wont be able to communicate in long distance since it is vhf and uhf. Maybe
the 2 meter band. II might be able to use repeaters to get in contact with
some of you if you guise are in my area.

I am sorry if I am giving you guise too much questions, but I just can't
wait to have a license.

p.s: Last year, I have talked to my english teacher's husband, Who does not
have a ham license, and he told me all about ham radio and the ionosphere
and those things. Since then, I wanted to be a ham radio operator.
