When you turned the computer off did you turn everything off? In fact try
disconnecting/discontinuing AC power to the computer and all the computer
components (monitor,router,modem,etc.) for about 1 minute. Then reenergize
and turn on all the components with the computer (CPU) being last. What then
actually happens when you turn the computer on? Does it complete the initial
post and give a short beep? Does Windows try to start? Did the total power
off and on work?

The forgoing is intended to clear the error and see if it reoccurs. If it
does not complete each/any of these steps, what does happen in some detail
and what does the monitor show?

I clicked on Spybot S&D. My computer clicked off & back on. Now I have a
black screen with Numbers & letters that makes no since to me. I have
