Is it possible to create a bootable XP CD that will allow me to run XP
backup without first installing XP onto the hard drive? I have an XP backup
of a system that I want to install on a new computer. I have used Norton
Ghost to transfer networked computers, and perhaps that may be an easier way
to go, but I was just wondering about the XP backup anyway in case a system
ever needed to be restored from a crash. In the past, I have always ended up
installing a minimal XP on the new hard disk before doing the restore. I
would like to avoid that step if possible.

Thank you for any pointers.

Peter
