***** THIS EMAIL WAS SENT VIA THE INTERNET *****
I have a Toshiba Satellite S1900-303 that just hangs following a windows crash (OS is Windows XP).
On boot-up the laptop enters "chkdsk" mode. This runs as expected to 100%, but then freezes with a file "cross-linked on allocation unit 1769630".
If you bypass the chkdsk process, XP starts-up, blue screens and soft boots, back to square one!
Any ideas? I have a bad feeling it may be the hard disk .......
