Hi guys!

I'm back! I left Thursday morning around 11:00 with Mom and Dad. We went
to Judy and Wendell's house where Bob and Donna had driven with their
rental. We got ready and got into the rental with them. We traveled for
awhile and stopped for lunch at a place on the Oregon trail and looked
around a bit. When we got to Yackima (I don't know how to spell that one.)
we had dinner and stopped for the night. The next day we went on to Port
Townsend where Maxine lives, ate lunch, got ready and went on to Port Warden
where the reunion was. It was fun! I think there were supposed to be 75
people. I put strings on most of the name tags on the way over. We stayed
in maybe two or three houses where bedding and linen were provided, but a
lot of the time we walked a ways to where we ate, but that's good for you,
right? We were close to the bay, so we went down to the beach and explored.
Some people even saw dolphins and odders! I got to touch interesting
seaweed and other things too, and later I got a boat ride. It was fun, and
it was bumpy when we went fast, but the waves weren't deep like I like them.

Friday night they had us start a game in which we went around asking
everybody what our favorite kind of ice cream is and have us sign our names
on each other's papers. I didn't have anyone do it, but I signed some of
them. Saturday morning we had tags stuck to our backs. I didn't get what
the secret was, but we got assigned to groups of about eight people, each
group witha name like Dolphins (my group), Odders, or Octopus. We had to
get our middle names, add up our ages, and remember the total for some
reason. Then my group, at least, when the groups got together at
dinnertime, figured out what machine we were going to act out that night. I
suggested that we do a CD player; have some people form a frame on the
outside, while the rest go inside and spin around, and we all sing a song.
It didn't take long for them to say what we were, so I wonder if somebody
spilled the beans. (smile) Later we went outside to watch my nephew swing a
light stick around.

Sunday we had a time of worship and sharing, watched videoes of reunions
past, socialized, and a little more singing and devotion. That night my
nephew and a friend did fire poy, in which you run, spew a bit of alcohol,
swing something around, and I don't remember all the details but it's safe
if you're supervised; they use kerosene. I don't think Mom and Dad saw it
though. we weren't sure if he was going to do it. We sat in the car
waiting to find out, so it wasn't described to me. I was disappointed.

After lunch Yesterday, Bob and Donna took off with their daughter Antara,
who came the day before, and went to Portland, Oregon to fly back to
Virginia. Maxine and Dad drove us all the way back to Idaho today! we had
dinner at Judy's before coming home. So, what's been going on since I've
been gone? I was trying to get my e-mail, but I got error messages, so I
thought I'd write while I wait to try again. Let's see if I can get it now.

Sharon
