I believe this is the case.  Although the newer Bose systems have no buttons 
on the units, you can get a Braille remote for them.  It is larger than the 
credit card sized standard remote that comes with it, but they are 
available.  Personally, the Bose is too bassy for my taste, and it is 
overpriced for what you get, but it does support MP3 as well as conventional 
CD's.  It may be the closest we can come to an accessible stereo system by 
today's standards.
