Subject: [acbra] World Radio On Tape

Hello,

Like me, I am sure that many of you have received World Radio on tape,
recorded by Tom Carten K1PZU at Kings College in Wilkesbarre PA.
Tom started recording World Radio in 1971, and I started receiving it in
1979.

Due to health problems, Tom has decided to no longer record the magazine.
I just received his last tape, informing us of this, and letting us know
that HandiHams is recording selected articles from the magazine for their
members to receive.

I will personally miss Tom, he really did a great job, and my hat is off to
him!

John
