Jeff,

The theory is that as America transfers to digital radio the process will be
accomplished in two stages.  The first is what we are in now, the hybrid
stage, where digital and analog will coexist.  The second stage will be full
digital where the analog signals will go away and the complete signal will
be digital.

I think it will be a very long time till we get to full digital on the
broadcast bands.  This hybrid stage particularly on am will in my opinion be
a total mess do to co-channel and adjacent channel issues.
