Another performance laptop option might be Alienware. The Area 51 m5750
uses dual core Centrino processor, ATI’s Mobility Radeon X1800 256mb graphics
card and up to 2 gig. of 667 Mhz ram as well as up to 240 GB HD (in raid o).
Prices run from 1,300 to 3,000 depending on options chosen. I had in the
past heard of problems with support but recent forums seem to indicate the
opposite.
I am also looking into laptops and am wondering if any of the list Gurus
have any input on Alienware since it and Mac top my interest at this time.
