In response to numerous queries from food manufacturers, the FDA has developed a new Q & A about the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act FALCPA). It is available at:
www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/alrguid.html

Although the guidance was prepared for the food industry, it responds to many consumer questions, too.

If you have questions that are not addressed in the Q&A, please forward them to us and we will try to obtain answers for you.

Thank you.
