do you have the radio set to PC programming form the mic jack in the menu?
that's strange, it should write if it can read.

Subject: Programming software TH-F6A

I picked up the Kenwood programming cable for the TH-F6A at Dayton and am
attempting to program the radio through the computer. I have been able to
read the radio and store the parameters in the software. When I attempt to
write to the radio I get a communications timeout error. Can anyone help?
