First, since I work at home, I was able to take the day off.

Second, I received birthday cards from church members and from people on
this list. It is nice to be remembered on your birthday.

Third, my sister-in-law took me out for breakfast.

Fourth, I received my income tax refund that allowed me to purchase some
needed clothing, and buy some new telephones at Wal-Mart. At Shepherd
House, the food pantry system here in Carbon County, I have my federal,
state and local taxes deducted each month. Such an arrangement makes tax
time easier. I praise God that for the past 21 years, I was able to work at
home for the church and for Shepherd House.
