    Butch and all:

In working with my son's new TMV708, a lot of it is similar to the TMV7
A, but some of the function buttons are configured differently. I can't now
remember what the specific differences were, but I know they are not
identical radios.

If I get the chance to play with his rig some more, I'll let you know what
the exact differences are between it and the TMV7A.

On another note, I can tell you that from having searched at Dayton, TMV7A's
are getting really hard to fine.

Even though my second one (the one I got at Dayton) has a noisy fan, I'll
take it anyway.

On the noisy fan issue, the dealer I bought it from at Dayton is going to
send me a new fan, free of charge, since the radio is still under the 30-day
warranty.

Then, we'll have to get the new fan put in, and I should be all set.
