funny I can find no one else who's had that problem but can think of many
many many hams that use them daily, myself included who've had not 1 single
problem and mien runs 24.7, actually a few people around here run them that
much and mine is the newest of the bunch at 8 years old.

I think that "good Astron" is an oximoron.  I've had two of these supplies
that limited current by burning semiconductors rather than blowing
fuses.  I guess that is why some folks call them "Ashtrons."
