Oh well, if he can't afford the cancer treatments, that would take care of
the problem, assuming that it isn't all made up.  It's hard for me to feel
any sympathy for people who apparently live their entire lives by jerking
other people around.  What I don't get is why the FCC didn't decide that
his past actions make the issuance of a Technician license
unwarranted.  They certainly have decided that other people have
demonstrated that they cannot behave themselves enough to hold an amateur
radio license.  Just because you pass the test, doesn't make it so the FCC
has to grant the license.  Past criminal behavior can disqualify a person
from holding an amateur radio license.
