OK, this isn't urgent, and I'll just spit it out and if you are lead to
pray about it however, that is fine. As we try to guide our Business
Enterprise Program during tough financial times of the state, budget
crunches all over the place, and etc. I'm finding out that very likely down
the road my means of income doing vending at this university will likely be
no more. That is sort of OK for me as long as I win the bid for another
location I hope to bid on in months to come. Nonetheless we need to keep
these locations in the university system to help employ blind folks and not
let measly commission dollars dictate whether a blind vendor is able to
work or not. Compared to the budgets, the commissions earned off of
machines is peanuts even if they get the higher percentages of private
operators or bottlers trying to gain market share. I will be bidding on a
highway location when my friend retires from vending in May, or sooner if
set aside payments to the state are raise, which they will in January, he
just doesn't know it yet. I need to interview well, my work integrity and
knowledge of everyday stuff stands for itself. I will be studying more of
the legislative details and procedure despite my having working knowledge
of it as a member of the elected committee of blind vendors. Basically I
need to come out on top when it comes to interview time. There will be at
least six of us bidding on this location because it does so well. I
earnestly seek prayer in guidance of what I should study and do. I do feel
God is leading me towards this direction for several reasons, not just the
impending virtual boot from the university systems. So as you are led to
pray over the next while please if you would, I'd appreciate it. I'll keep
you posted as things arise, although these things tend to move pretty
slow. Thanks.

Brad
