You'd do great in my philosophy class, I wrote a paper on God and the
Problem Of Evil and I used the free will defense, saying exactly what you
did, the world is as it is, because of choices we have made, some ask if God
is so powerful why doesn't He take away all sin, all evil, He could, but
what type of world would that be? All the trials we go through that
strengthen our walk with God and our character, would no longer be needed,
there'd be no need for forgiveness, compassion, courage, honor, mercy, or
any need to rely on God for the world would be perfect minus sin, minus
evil, minus depression, I guess sometimes we want perfection, but is that
really what we want, I don't know about the rest of you, but the hard times
in my life, in my marriage, have made me, us, what we are today, though I
would never have picked that a good result would come from such a terrible
time, God's miracle is turning what would normally be distressing in to a
joy!
