Very true. If it were for just things I didn't care for, people to me who
are Brother and Sister Sandpaper, you know, the ones who rub you a little
the wrong way? If it were just such things, I'd left a while back. It is
more some doctrinal differences I have, which aren't necessary to
salvation but to true worship and living as I believe a Christian ought,
it does make a difference. As well as potentially "seeker friendly" to a
point of compromise or worse, not letting the flock know where the church
stands on issues in general messages and etc. It is for those reasons I'm
still praying about continuation there. There are some really good folks
there who are dedicated to the hilt. I'm in no hurry at this point and
just seeking God's direction. But for music? Like I say, I'm meant to be
done as of May 22, but they are very limited on those who are willing to
lead and play guitar as we've lost two guitarists over the past couple
years, and another one just came on but will be gone for the summer. That
leaves me and another guy who hasn't played all that long. I know I am not
"irreplaceable" to God, and yet I don't wish to leave the church in a
hardship if they need folks. But then the hardest position to fill is the
one who will not leave it.

Praying for your decisions about church as well. It's never easy, as no
church is perfect, and neither are we.
