Hello everyone:

I am selling a Kenwood TS140 HF rig. The display / meter is not blind
accessible, otherwise I would not be selling it. I'm sure many of you are
involved in local ham clubs, and you may know of a new ham looking for a
"first rig".

I purchased this one in 1990, and it has spent most of it's life in a box in
the closet. My HF antenna came down in 1995 and never went back up. I
pulled it out of the closet in 2003, with the intention of putting up a new
antenna. Unfortunately, I lost my eye sight several months later, so it has
sat here on my desk ever since.

It transmits on 160 - 10 meters and includes a general coverage receiver
(which was the reason I traded in my TS130 for this rig). I don't remember
the power output, but I believe it is 150W.

It includes the up/down hand mike, power cable, owners manual and a matching
Kenwood external speaker.

I would like $400 for the rig. I would guess that ground shipping would
cost $20 - $25 from CT.

Please don't hesitate to e-mail me off-list with any questions.

Thanks,
John
