Richard:
The Kenwood THF6A, and the Icom t90A seem to be the rigs of choice these
days. I have a THf6A, and it transmits on 2 meters, 220, and 440. It's the
most "user friendly HT I have ever owned.
The T90A is somewhat less expensive, and transmits on 2 meters, 6 meters,
and 440. It also has a CW frequency read-out. The radio, though, isn't
quite as "user friendly" in my opinion, because of complicated key
configurations, etc.
This is just my opinion, though.
