It is not recommended practice among most A+ certified techs to mix
brand names. RAM performs best when it is paired as closely as possible
(e.g. brand, speed settings, etcetera), especially if you intend to use
Dual Channel (bank interleaving on two or more sticks). Any differences
in RAM chip performance will really stick out then. Close RAM pairing
becomes even more important when you move up the performance scale from
your typical end user to a monster gaming rig or a server.
