Steve, You have a couple options. First, stick the hard drive in the
machine and see what happens. If it only recognizes the first 137 GB or
hangs, you know it won't work with the native interface. Assuming you
really want the hard drive, you can purchase an aftermarket  IDE interface
that will handle the larger drives. I'm familiar with Promise Technologies,
but there are other less expensive alternatives. I think the Promise
Ultra133 sells for about 40 bucks. Hope this helps you out.
