I can't speak for the 19 inch size, but I have a 20 inch ViewSonic VP201m
that I have been using for several years. It has no bad pixels, and I have
not noticed any ghosting when viewing movies. Since I am not a gamer, I
can't speak to that application. All LCD monitors will show some lag and
limited colors when compared to CRT monitors. However, I have been very
happy that I made the switch - it sure is great for my eyes.
On my system, I use the digital interface from my video card. The digital
signal produces a sharper image on my monitor than the analog interface. Not
a great difference, but definitely noticeable.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a 19" flat panel monitor? It will
be used extensively for text, graphics and playing some movies.
I was about to get the DELL 1905fp, but I see a number of comments about
bad ghosting when playing movies or games.
