My daughter has an Averatec 3150 laptop that is about a year and a half old.
The keyboard space bar has become intermittent. This is a failure mode I
have seen on other laptops. The manufacturer says that they do not cover
such a failure under warranty. My questions to the list are:

1. How often does this failure occur?

2. How old is the computer when this happens?

3. Is it something that is usually covered under warranty?

Thank you for any experience shared.

Peter
