The only other info I have is written by a pharmacist-nun and is several years old. The www.napervillegi.com site has a drug list as well as a food list, but I believe that is based on info sent to them by other celiacs.

I usually ask for packaging info when I get my rx with contains a listing of all ingredients. I know which excipients are g.f. & which could be a problem (there is an excipient list at glutenfreedrugs.com). I can usually find the ingredients faster than the pharmacist since I know exactly what I'm looking for. The packaging info also identifies the manufacturer and sometimes give contact info as well.

I don't worry much about cross contamination in the manufacturing process since there would also be a risk of mixing active ingredients...something I imagine would be a huge FDA no-no.

I also use www.rxlist.com to check inactive ingredients. There are several other sites available and my doctor can usually check on potential meds while I'm in the office. Since generics have to meet the same standards for dissolving and absorption of the brand name drugs, ingredients are likely to be the same (I spoke w/ the FDA on that) or the company would have to run additional testing.
