One person mentioned that the ELISA test for gluten checks for wheat gluten
only. If this is true, then any gluten from barley will not be detected by
the tests that Juice Plus runs. I would not even expect them to check for
avenin, the protein in oats, as oats are still controversial.

Juice Plus contains parts of barley and oats.

I wrote the company again and asked them if they test for oat and/or barley
protein . I have not received an answer.

Most of the people who have responded to this post have said that they would
not touch Juice Plus - including me. I do know one person who tried it and
had a typical gluten reaction.

I will let you know if JP answers this last question.
