I have food intolerances and have reduced them from a total of 24 to a total
of 16 - so far. I have been eating Paleo for roughly 2 years or a little
more but not 100% strict. Before that I was eating mostly Paleo with an
occasional low carb tortilla. I believe the reason some of my food
intolerances are gone is because I strictly avoided those foods for 4 to 6
months, not because I ate Paleo - unless of course the food was a non-Paleo
food.

For example, I was intolerant to casein and other sub-fractions of dairy. By
avoiding it strictly for 6 months I cleared that intolerance and now
occasionally might allow myself a small dairy treat although dairy is
considered Paleo. However, I was also intolerant to cauliflower, cabbage,
and some other vegetables. Although they are Paleo foods - to my knowledge -
I avoided them strictly as well and can now eat them again.

I hope this helps.

Kristina
