I have prayed with so many other friends who are blind now, that I always
watch the Lord as He directs them to areas where their blindness wounded
them.  either due to something they were told, as in your case with your
mother, or something as simply due to the inability to cope with situations
at times.  In the last year, I have been amazed at the number of places the
Lord has taken me which is related to my blindness.  Here I had thought over
all these years that it wasn't an issue.  My training had been nothing more
than coping mechanisms and now Jesus is bringing healing.
