Lelia,
I'm sorry for what you heard, but remember, in the words of Matthew 18, you
are encouraged to let the other person know that you were offended.  That
way, you may not have to guess about what was meant, but you may learn the
truth and, hopefully, that will set you free.  Just a thought!
