the line limit is supposedly 150 lines, this includes every single line
including blanks and those lines that just have one character on them.
Ive never run across a server that does this before, though, i think with a
server that hosts a few hundred lists like this one does, they do have to
conserve their band width and storage space a little....there should be an
easier way though.
Cant the server do something like cut off all original messages or
something?
The point of a line limit is understandable, but i as well find that after
writing a longish message that i have forgotten to delete the originals
from, if it gets bounced back i find it too much effort and time to have to
copy and paste all the original information or go to my sent items folder
and resend the message deleting all the extra stuff.
There is an option in most email clients that allows you to not include
originals, but that also sort of undermines a discussion list where in
previous messages are important and need to be refered back to offten.
Too bad there isn't a filter for outlook express anyway that will take off
all but the first original message.
