Thank you Steve. I knew about this toggle but was unaware that the first
touch would put it off line. A shame that Kenwood, good as they are with
their tones, are not altogether consistent about their tone feedback.
Any ideas you or anyone else may have about programming memory channels with
specific tones with this transceiver, the TS2000, will be appreciated. I am
getting more and more familiar with the Kenwood-produced computer-controlled
program for the TS2000. So far, about the only thing of real advantage that
I have found is that menus and their parameters is much easier to manage
with this program, the program giving much more information about the
available parameters than spoken by the voice read-out.
