Hi John,

The ham population is aging rapidly.  Vision loss comes with increasing age
for many people.  If manufacturers of ham radio gear want to stay in the
game, then they'd better get used to dealing with us blind people in a
reasonable manner by providing enough nonvisual features to permit use of
the equipment.  It is really that simple.  In the case of ham radio, this is
a good business decision.
