Hi Andrew Shipp,
The default settings for EchoLink are set to use graphical icons that
aren't accessible when using JAWS. I don't know witch screen reader you are
using but with JAWS I have to do a little work with the JAWS cursor to get
things right again.
If you are using JAWS I can give you pretty complete directions how to
solve the problem.
If you are having the problem that I'm thinking of this is how you fix
it.
First do an alt F. Then right arrow to tools. At this point you won't
be able to down arrow. So do a rout JAWS to PC and down arrow with the JAWS
cursor until you get to preferences. Then left click on it. switch back to
the PC cursor. Next shift tab until you hear show icons in pull down menus.
Uncheck the box. Tab to ok and press enter. Now alt F4 to exit EchoLink.
Once you start EchoLink again your menus should be back!
I hope this does the trick for you!
God bless,
Mark WZ0K
