Jeff,
I've never hidden the fact that I'm a ham, and in thirty years, I've
never had any trouble with neighbors either. I just ask them to
please call me any time they're getting interference, and I'll stop
transmitting immediately if I happen to be on the air. I think most
people are just happy to know that you're willing to cooperate with them.
