Allen,

I'm not sure if the 2700 is still being made. I've debated selling mine since
I have the TS-2000. I bought it nine years ago, all the functions are
accessible from the back of the mike. It is dual-band and you can listen on
one freq while xmitting on the other.

I might have the manual scanned in as an Open Book doc, so if you need it, I
can send it to you as a text version. Just realize, I didn't spend time
totally cleaning it up.

Steve, K8SP

Thanks Steve, I didn't see that in the 2700 manual. I'll look again and
check with the people in Phoenix.

Sure, lots of them.

I have an Ic-2700H which is VHF/UHF FM only. There are several Kenwoods
that can be had with an optional synthesizer.

Does any body know of a VHF/UHF rig besides the IC-706 with a voice =
synth? I
don't operate on HF, so I don't feel like paying $500 more than I have =
to
for HF just for the synth.
