it was out up to about 6 months ago when it was replaced by the 271.

I checked on the Ham Radio Outlet's web site.  They don't even have the
tm-261 listed in their catalog.  My guess is that the 261 might be an older
radio that was produced in the early 90's.  Is anyone else familiar with
this unit?  Have you been successful at using it?  Thanks again.

What frequency to frequency end does the tm 261 support? meaning, 2 meters
is like 140 mhz. And, does it only support 2 meters? Since handihams told me
that it's a uhf / vhf transceiver. But now I cant take my order back ; avery
has sent the form out for the equipment lone request form... So, to late.
