Kenwood TM-G707A fits that perfectly, you ca put the Face up front and mount
the rf deck anywhere else you want, it has voice read out, 100% accessible,
I use one daily in the house and am thinking about again, buying another one
to use mobile since I retired my old mobile and don't think I can mount the
old one like I want anyway, I need to put the RF deck in back too, we'll see
what I end up doing though. Anyway, that's my recommendation and from what
you say you want, it should fit your needs perfectly.

Subject: needing new radio

I am needing to buy a new radio and there are a few things that I am really
wanting. I thought some of you all might be able to help me.
First I guess you will need to know what frequency I want to use the radio
for.
1. duel band VHF and UHF.
2. I would like for it to be totally accessible (I know I will have to buy
a speech board).
3. I will need to be able to mount the RF deck some where other than up
front.
4. If possible I would like to have expanded RCV on both bands.

I think that is about everything that I have to have, anything else I think
I can put up with.
Thanks for all comments.
