Jim,
Hope you were referring to the A C B convention. The semi-official ACBRA
simplex frequency has been 147.480 Mhz, unless there's QRM or QRN. Usually
some people check on the hour,  such as 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 etc.  I'm sending
private answer to you, also.
