Hi Collin,
Our Field Day was a blast this year. I had the experience, new to me, where
the club used my call. It's kind of fun and a little strange to hear
everyone around you using your call. <GRIN> We had stations on 40 SSB, 20
SSB that also did a little work on 15 yesterday morning when the band
opened, a satellite station and a PSK31 station along with our CW position
where we used my TS-480 and my good friend, N7UO, and I shared the work. I
had a concert to go to on Saturday night with the XYL so missed about five
hours of the operation but I started the day on 20 at 1800 and worked almost
all the afternoon with a couple of breaks until about 0000 UTC. Then, when
I got back, Frank crashed and I spent the night and very early morning on
80. We couldn't get the antenna to load on 40. We'll change that next
year. <GRIN> We both spent time on the CW station yesterday morning. We
had more Q's than last year for all of us, enjoyed some great company, good
food and had a real blast.
Hopefully, we will see each other on air next year as well. And, I think we
might have worked you guys Collin but I can't remember. Take care and very
73.
Kevin :)
