Let's say the last memory you have programmed is #9 and memory #10 is empty.
Go to memory #9, then go to the VFO and set it up.  When your ready to store
the VFO into #10 do this.

Press F then Mem, next with the tuning dial crank it  up once to #10 and
press Mem again to complete the store.

You can get to the programmable band edges by going to memory #1, then
cranking the dial down once for the upper band limit (U3)  or twice for the
lower band limit (L3).  There are three lower and upper band edge pairs.
