Rich, I think you are right.  It goes back to the value of money.  I can
always spend your money easier than I can spend my money.  The functional
differences between jfw and window-eyes are small, but the perceived
differences are huge.  It's like different brands of motorcycles.
I have a number of well thought out reasons why I use window-eyes when I
can and jfw when I have to, but another person will use jfw when they can,
and nothing if window-eyes is the option.
The other thing that got jfw a leg up, was that it supported braille
displays long before vocal-eyes or window-eyes did.  Just because dvr
counsellors went to school, doesn't mean they know anything at all about
adaptive tech.  Another issue is that adaptive technology vendors make
purchase recommendations.  Now how do you avoid that conflict of interest?
Anywhere else in government, people would end up in jail for that.

1. Start a timer,
2. Call freedom scientiffic,
3. Get to technical support and get the answer to your question.
Now conduct the same experiment with GWMicro.
Note the elapsed time difference.
