Hi Jeff;

I heard that their is a Panasonic Talking cordless phone.

It's the KXTG2386,

I believe it will even read your phone book for you.

It is 5.8GHZ.

I didn't read any reviews about the battery life or range but, I know I can
go almost around the block with mine.
