Correction on the AES price (aesham.com), I just checked and the price is
$475 after mail in rebate. The rebate is good to the end of the year
(12/31).

Best to shop around, AES, Universal Radio (rffun.com), Grove Ent and
several other dealers have been selling the R75 with DSP for $500 (after =
$50
mail in rebate). Grove has a used (or had) a R75 for less than $400, =
but no
DSP. =20

The voice chip used by the R75 is the same as that used by the IC-718 =
and it
is very easy to install and works great. The DSP is not as easy to =
install,
but it a nice feature.
