I'm hoping to work it out so I can keep the G5RV up, I don't know how well
that will work out but I figure they have to go around the cable wires,
phone, and all that and my G5RV coax runs through an attic vent so I'm
hoping they'll let me leave it as is so I can at least keep that up, we'll
see if I can do that I'll be happy if not I guess I"m completely off the air
other then my packet antenna which is in the attic but how well that will do
on voice I have no clue, probably not very well just because of where it is,
the coax I'm running though it did surprise me on packet, I'd much rather be
on HF though, I'd give up UHF and VHF for good to stay on HF for this 2
weeks because I don't know if what is taken down will be put back up for me,
we've had issues but I think we're starting fresh with the guy now, anyway,
I'll let everyone know when I'm back up and I'll be on the air, I wanted to
upgrade a little over here anyway, convert my power connectors to power
poles, and stuff like that so this down time is a good time to do all that I
guess.
