I had a brief look at that handbook (written by one A. Frederick
Collins), the claimed inventor of the radiotelephone; appears to date
from somewhere in the 1920's. If it's in the public domain, it can't
be any newer than, say, 1929'ish, and I suspect it's a little older
than that.
