Thanks for that story about Vic.  I was so sad when I heard the ARRL Bulletin
in 1983 about his becoming an early silent key.

One of the things I really enjoyed about the QST's when the league did them
was that they would often describe the pictures as well.  I remember that they
used to come on 7-in reels, too, if my memory serves me correctly.
