I have purchased from HRO, Gigaparts.com in Alabama, and Austin
Amateur Radio Supply (when I lived, strangely enough, in Austin). It
must be a local ham radio store thing: Austing Amateur Radio Supply
didn't seem to care whether a local customer came in or didn't,
whether they bought something or didn't, or even seem to care about
what they were selling. I certainly didn't buy from them for their
service--only because they were convenient and I could have whatever
it was right now. I don't know how they are with their mail order
customers, but they sure didn't care about the locals at all!
