Hi.
No, I actually meant the Kenwood Ts790 which is a 2 meter/70 cm radio that
is all mode and runs 45 watts on 2 meters and 35 watts on 70 cm, and with
an optional module can run 10 watts on 1.2 GHz. I don't have the 1.2 GHz
option. The radio uses the VS2 voice synthesizer, and has full duplex
capabilities so that you can use the radio with satellites. It has a
pretty good sized footprint, too almost twice as large as the Kenwood
Ts690S (I have one of those, too!).
Unfortunately, the Kenwood TS790 has a lot of buttons that I just don't
know what they do, and I am still trying to figure out how to load the
memories. The radio is smarter than I am!
