I have the tmv-7a, and I like it although, it is beeing discontinued and
replaced by a similar but newer radio, i forget the new number. It has
much more receive coverage than the one I have which reallty annoys me as
when I bought my 7, I specifically asked a e s people here in Vegas if
there was any difference in the radios and was told no, except the new one
does alpha display. Turns out that wasn't all.
It has a lot o fnice features, but there are things that don't speak,
menus, pl tones and so forth.
